Requirements
- Wisconsin Certified Waterworks Operator Class G and D & Basic General Wastewater with Collections Systems subclass (mandatory)
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (mandatory) and an acceptable driving record
- All operators are in the on-call rotation and must reside within 40 minutes of city hall.
Nice To Haves
- Iron Removal preferred.
- WI CDL BCD with Tanker endorsement (N) preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system
- Inspect and evaluate pump stations and houses daily
- Read and test water meters
- Perform water sampling and testing
- Inspect and/or maintain sewer and water pumping equipment, hydrants, sanitary sewers, and new construction connections
