This position will work Friday-Sunday 5am to 5pm in our extrusion department. WHO WE ARE We are a team of over 900, and sales of over $150 million. Our services include aluminum extrusion, fabrication, architectural and industrial finishes, and more. WHAT YOU WILL DO Cross-train in all press operations to maximize efficiency. Optimize die order and press settings for best output. Identify and fix issues causing scrap to improve efficiency. Inspect samples to meet customer specifications and maintain quality. Perform maintenance and ensure proper loading to prevent downtime.
Requirements
- Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
- Previous work experience on an extrusion press is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and operate a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer required.
- Entry level computer experience is useful.
- The position requires the ability to lift, load and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
- All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
