About The Position

As a Utility Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will operate equipment and perform housekeeping duties throughout the plant, ensuring a clean and compliant work environment. Requirements

A high school diploma or GED.
A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
Equipment operation experience (e.g., forklifts).
Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Work any shifts, including weekends and paid holidays as schedules dictate.

Responsibilities

Safely operate mobile equipment as required to meet production targets and perform clean up necessary for an efficient operation.
Use of hand tools and power tools to perform work.
Use of vacuum truck, water truck, sweeper, forklift, loader, etc. as required.
Ensure that all risk assessments, work place inspections, vehicle inspections and equipment inspections are completed each shift or when conditions change.
Provides plant maintenance and site clean-up.
Perform any and all other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
