US Farathane - Utility Operator - 1st Shift Paid Weekly! What we are looking for! We are looking for an individual to become a Utility Operator who is reliable, flexible, thorough, and wants to grow in their career. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform all responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Report to your Supervisor prior to shift start for immediate assignments Fill in for absent or late operators Train all new operators or existing operators on new jobs, documenting as required Check assigned area for any new quality alerts or containment actions and ensure operator compliance Make boxes for all machines in assigned area Maintain work cell organization (packaging, product, scrap, equipment, etc.) Perform all housekeeping duties in conformance to the Housekeeping Verification sheet Ensure the correct completion of all paperwork including the totaling of all scrap sheets Take over all operator duties for all scheduled and unscheduled breaks Periodically check all operators in section for conformance to established quality and production requirements (proper labeling, trimming, packing, output, etc.) Alert Plant Supervision of any jobs in section running at a slow or high defect rate Remove old packaging or any other conformance to duties specified in the first shot instruction Ensure that all assigned production is properly scanned and identified Ensure the incoming shift has 30 minutes of packaging and other necessary supplies Empty all scrap and garbage containers as required per operator board direction Keep packaging storage area neat and organized Keep work cell organized per 6S layout and notify supervisor if not adhered to Any other duties as assigned by Plant Supervision Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
