2nd Shift Utility Operator

Position: Utility Operator Job Summary Support the production and repack operations through the physical movement of products. Move other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment as assigned. Help maintain cut tables, run glue and poly machines. Label and package materials along with running grinders.
Requirements

- Must be minimum of 18 years of age.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
- High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.

Responsibilities
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material and equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices
- Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area
- Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control
- Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities
- Follow environmental and safety policies
- Comply with procedures, regulations, and instruction of environmental and safety programs
- Other duties as assigned
