About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the overall operation of production on their shift. The following list of responsibilities and requirements is not intended to be comprehensive and may be modified at any time by the Human Resource Partner in response to current business needs.

Requirements

Must have at least 6 months of previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months.
Must be able to obtain a PIT license.

Responsibilities

Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as Receiving, Inspection Room, Raw Prep/Cook, RTE, Packout, and other locations as needed.
Operates machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process
Responsible for ensuring pallets are wrapped in plastic before being dumped, reducing the risk of foreign material.
Ensures proper ingredients and or supplies are available on the line
Monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed
Learns plant proper operating procedures and practices in each department.
Assists in setting their individual performance goals and objectives with their Supervisor.
Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for the performance of departmental duties.
Receives training in the functions and operations of all departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater job opportunities.
Attends company-sponsored training classes.
Abides by all company Safety, QA, and Human Resource policies.
All other duties, as assigned by management.
