Be part of a purpose-driven team where your skills contribute to meaningful change. Noble Biomaterials, Inc is currently seeking a Utility Operator for our 7am-3pm shift. The Utility Operator supports different production areas to keep plant operations running smoothly and safely. This flexible role involves handling various tasks, helping with training, and filling in for other operators or leads when needed. The operator must follow all quality, safety, and production standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to cross-train and work effectively in multiple production areas.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs frequently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
  • Proficiency in data entry, reporting, and basic computer use.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety data sheets (SDS), and production documentation.
  • Basic Math Skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school background preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Train employees, keep training records updated, and help onboard new team members.
  • Write and maintain work procedures and instructions.
  • Review production data, track performance, and prepare reports.
  • Support different production areas and quickly learn new processes and equipment.
  • Follow daily production schedules and chemical recipe requirements accurately.
  • Track and maintain calibration logs for all required devices.
  • Enter daily production data to ensure accurate records.
  • Monitor key production settings to keep operations efficient and stable.
  • Check process data and product quality to meet company standards.
  • Prepare and blend chemical materials according to production needs.
  • Record operational details such as temperatures, pressures, materials, and test results.
  • Fill in as a production operator when needed.
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Perform other tasks or special projects as assigned.
