The position is for Construction/Laborer employees in the Gas Distribution department, involving the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of gas facilities. This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring D.O.T. testing and a safe driving record. Employees must obtain a Class A Driver's License within one year from the date of hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 months construction, manufacturing, mechanical or related work experience.
• Physically able to perform heavy construction work.
• Willing to work outside in all types of weather.
• Successfully pass the Gas Battery preplacement test before hire.
• Successfully complete required training after hire.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• CDL Class A is required within one year of employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Construct, operate, maintain, and repair gas facilities.
• Use jackhammer, tamping, and digging equipment.
• Perform heavy construction work in various weather conditions.
• Participate in storm duty as needed.
