About The Position

The Utility Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of general repair and maintenance duties for the Line Repair Department in League City, TX. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must obtain Class D Water Operator license issued by TCEQ within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs City water and sewer lines.
• Maintains equipment and cleans hand tools and job sites.
• Assists in keeping daily records of all operations.
• Stocks crew truck with parts.
• Addresses customer complaints and problems.
• Performs on-call after hour duties.
• Operates a Vactor truck to clean water and sewer mains as required.
• Assists in training new hires.
• Provides services during emergency situations that threaten public safety.
