Every shift is a new opportunity to Discover Different - and support each other along the way. JOB SUMMARY Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and minor building maintenance. Ensuring safe and efficient building operations while assisting maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or higher
  • Vocational training in basic preventative maintenance is preferred
  • Six months to one year experience in a preventative maintenance capacity with demonstrated mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Be flexible with changing hours, demands, and priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational training in basic preventative maintenance is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine repairs on various in-house systems to include conveyor, material handling equipment, tagging machines, storage equipment, vehicles, etc.
  • Assists in troubleshooting and lubricates, adjusts and replaces parts.
  • Performs maintenance services in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, heating, etc. may perform basic maintenance duties such as minor construction, landscaping, cleaning, etc.
  • Assists maintenance mechanics in major equipment repairs, electrical repairs and installations in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Requisitions new supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Performs special projects or duties as assigned.
