About The Position

Forge ahead with WSB. We are seeking Utility Locator to add to our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting safe, accurate utility operations by traveling between worksites across the Texarkana area to audit locate work and ensure compliance with standards. We are looking for a detail-driven professional who is comfortable working independently in the field, has strong communication skills, and is committed to quality and safety. This remote role requires use of a personal vehicle, with a monthly stipend and reimbursement at .70 per mile. Requirements

1-3 years experience performing utility locates
Experience locating gas
Ability to perform quality, accurate locates
Fluency in Ticket Management Systems
Comprehensive knowledge of local 811 processes/laws
Familiarity or experience with: Excavation Operator Qualifications Natural gas/CFR 192 Stop Work Responsibility Damage Prevention
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to perform work at multiple sites
Assertive, clear communicator
Familiar with locate documentation requirements, including informative photos
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. You’re required to work with your hands, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. At times you may be working at or on uneven terrain, slopes, in confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.
