Full Time Utility Locator Technician
About The Position
We're currently hiring for EXPERIENCED Full Time Utility Locator Technicians in the Saint Paul, MN area (including Maplewood, Oakdale and Little Canada areas)! Starting wage ranging from $23-$30/hour depending on level of experience. All of our field technicians are provided with: Safety gear including company boot (allowance), vests, glasses, etc. Military-grade computer device Company issued truck Company fuel card (yes, we pay your gas!) Comprehensive Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401K, Life insurance and short term Disability Responsibilities: Line locators will work under the direction of their company supervisor, performing work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, while using special electronic equipment to locate and protect the utility from being damaged. Some of these utilities include gas, electric, water, cable, sewer and more. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Must be able to present a physical Driver's License card, other documentation is not accepted)
- Upon employment, subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelines
- Must be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule
- Previous underground Utility Locating experience for Gas and/or Electric
Responsibilities
