Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities.
• Travel to assigned work sites to identify and mark underground facilities.
• Utilize various locating techniques and equipment to ensure accurate locates.
• Organize and prioritize locate tickets to be completed during the workday.
• Understand and reference records, maps, and prints to accurately locate underground facilities.
• Take and process pictures of respective locates and complete related paperwork.
• Check company vehicle, equipment, and supplies before leaving for the first locate each day.
• Ensure equipment is fully operational before starting work.
