The Utility Lead Systems Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, adjusting, training and maintaining a variety of utility systems, including high pressure steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration, well water, potable water, hot water, fire suppression, pneumatic, and HVAC equipment. This role requires training other utility team members through hands-on experience of the mechanical and electrical systems the utilities department is responsible for as well as the ability to perform routine and emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and system inspections. The utility lead operator must be proactive, self-directed, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. NOTE: this description is not intended to be all inclusive.
