About The Position

ROARING RIVER FEED MILL: 3rd Shift PART-TIME Utility/Ingredient Rail Operator FM03U Job Details: Pay is $18.20 per hour PLUS an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential. Schedule: Friday through Monday: 10PM to 5AM. Weekend (6 & 7 Day) work required, as needed. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION. MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. JOB DETAILS: Team member will need to be able to have: 1. Ability to operate a locomotive/trackmobile to move rail cars by following established procedures and/or specifications. Work and perform all the functions of the Control Room Panel -Batching operator. 2. Ability to coordinate activities such as switching cars from one track to another, coupling railcars together, and/or clearances. 3. Ability to handle switches and hand brakes in accordance with company programs. 4. Ability to walk the length of the track to monitor track conditions and report any irregularities to management. 5. Ability to accurately record data/Dispatch 6. Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system 7. Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo 8. Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients 9. Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients 10. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools 11. Ability to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. 12. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling 13. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures 14. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species 15. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas and grounds keeping. 16. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required 17. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols 18. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance 19. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. 20. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
