We are seeking a Utility Hoe Hand who will be responsible for operating and maintaining utility hoes (excavators) to assist with excavation, trenching, and site preparation for various construction projects. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating utility hoes or similar heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of excavation and utility installation safety practices
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operate utility hoe/excavator for trenching and excavation tasks on utility projects
• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
• Other duties as assigned
