POSITION OVERVIEW Support all plant operations and functions by keeping work areas clean and orderly, raw materials staged in the proper areas, and equipment ready to use.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Organized and able to manage tasks by priority
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in chemical manufacturing
- Previous experience handling hazardous materials.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety audits
- Use of proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Attend required safety meetings
- Handling chemical raw materials
- Ability to wear full face respirator
- Ability to write permits for safe work, confined space, and hot work
- Participate in JSA's (Job Safety Analysis)
- Janitorial & housekeeping for production areas
- Management of waste drums and drum inventory
- Escort equipment through PSM areas
- Certified forklift operator
- Operate hydro blaster
- Staging raw materials for production
- Bulk Material Transfer
- Press Filter Cleaning
- Clean Trenches
- SAP Transactions to include confirming batches, schedule lookup, and identify special instructions
- Work Order Data Entry in Maintelligience System
- Access Data Entry for Environmental/Waste Management
