The purpose of this position is to perform the county’s utility field operations. Success in this position contributes to clean and safe distribution and transmission of potable water, reclaimed water, and wastewater services for the physical health of St. Johns County and its residents. The work consists of varied technical and physical duties. Strict and frequently changing regulations contribute to the complexity of the position. This is complex technical work specializing in the operation and maintenance of the County’s potable/reclaimed water distribution/transmission, metering, and wastewater collection systems in an entry-level experience capacity.
