The Utility Department is currently recruiting for a "Utility Equipment Operator II ". SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Under the general day-to-day direction from the Utility Crew Chief, the Utility Equipment Operator II is responsible for assisting in the diagnostics, scheduling, coordination of maintenance, and repairs to the city's water and wastewater systems. and capable of covering for the Utilities Crew Chief when not available.

Requirements

• Required to have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
• 1 year of Backhoe operator experience required.
• Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
• TCEQ Class C distribution or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities
