About The Position

The Utility Electrical Technician position at the City of Lincoln's Water System involves maintaining and improving essential electrical infrastructure. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience as an industrial electrician in the repair and maintenance of electrical power and control equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid State of Nebraska Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Contractor License.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve electrical infrastructure for the City of Lincoln.
• Install electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring.
• Maintain and repair electrical motors, pump actuators, and related instrumentation rated from 480 to 13,800 Volts AC.
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting low voltage instrumentation and control systems.
