About The Position

Utility Driver Transdev is seeking a dedicated and reliable Utility Driver to join our team in supporting local transportation operations. As a key member of our team, you will drive vehicles between local sites, assist with vehicle maintenance, and ensure the safety and cleanliness of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that involves maintaining our fleet, handling maintenance tasks, and supporting various operational functions. Requirements

MUST have Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement
High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required
Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a good driving record
Must be 21 years old
Good oral communication skills
Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions
Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and all other safety training materials provided
Ability to learn shop processes including fueling vehicles and cleaning vehicles
Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products
Ability to use a variety of equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines, and other heavy cleaning equipment
Strong attention to details
Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Drives vehicles between local sites
Maintains building and grounds at the fixed route location.
Performs maintenance to include (but not limited to) mopping, removal of trash, use of floor machine
Reports possible safety violations or issues to the safety and training manager
Responsible for outfitting fleet with documentation and/or equipment as directed by management
Reports any vehicle issues or leaks to the maintenance site
Places client fliers or rider alerts on vehicles as required
Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles. May include maneuvering vehicles through the wash bay
In instances of inclement weather, prepares the fixed route lot. Including (but not limited to) operating the snowplow and/or sander, placing ice melt, placing hazard signs
Responsible for delivery of any utilities related paperwork between the operations and maintenance sites
Reports any maintenance issues to supervisors or management
Other duties as assigned
