Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent
  • The ability to work in the U.S.A with documentation.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment

Responsibilities

  • Scrape and clean all debris off dishes, utensils, and glasses to ensure they are ready for use.
  • Efficiently load and unload dishes, utensils, and glasses from the Steward/Dishwasher, maintaining a steady flow of clean items for kitchen and service staff.
  • Clean all large pots and pans in sinks, ensuring thorough removal of food residue and grease to maintain sanitation standards.
  • Clean sinks at the end of each shift or as required to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Place clean glasses, dishes, utensils, and pots in their designated locations for easy access by kitchen and service staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock supplies as needed to ensure continuous operations.
  • Remove garbage and grease from the kitchen area, disposing of it in appropriate receptacles to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues, emergencies, or needed repairs to the chef or manager promptly to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
  • Report any health and safety concerns or violations immediately to management to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist cooks with kitchen responsibilities as requested, contributing to the smooth operation of kitchen activities.
