About The Position

The Dishwasher/Utility team member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, dishware, and equipment. This role supports the entire kitchen operation by ensuring a steady flow of clean tools and a safe, sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Dishwashing & Sanitation Operate dish machine to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
  • Ensure proper use of chemicals and sanitation standards
  • Maintain clean and organized dish area at all times
  • Air dry and properly store all cleaned items
  • Kitchen Support Assist with basic food prep (as needed)
  • Keep kitchen floors clean and dry throughout shifts
  • Remove trash and recycling regularly
  • Support cooks and chefs with cleaning and organization needs
  • Equipment & Maintenance Clean and maintain dish machine, sinks, and surrounding areas
  • Report any equipment issues to management immediately
  • Follow opening and closing cleaning procedures
  • Organization Keep storage areas (pots, pans, dry goods) clean and organized
  • Maintain mop closet and cleaning supplies
  • Ensure proper rotation and storage of kitchen tools
