About The Position

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of building systems and facilities. Perform all phases of carpentry, including framing, finish carpentry, drywall installation as needed. Additionally, be knowledgeable and perform all needed aspects of painting and material finish protection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate, some college or industrial training on job related skills.
• If applicable, maintain a Master level license or certification in at least one applicable craft.
• Maintain a Texas driver's license, commercial driver's license and a clear driving record.
• Possess a Master craftsman's level of knowledge and expertise in multiple assigned crafts specifically carpentry, painting and drywall.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, or technical and schematic drawings.
• Minimum seven years previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment as assigned.
• Perform carpentry, millwork, drywall installation and repair and painting as assigned.
• Insure the use of appropriate materials and finishes for assigned projects or work orders.
• May lead crew as necessary.
• Responsible for compliance with safety policy and safe work practices for self and others.
• Use appropriate precautions and safety equipment when working with hazardous materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
