WHAT YOU’LL DO Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Performs duties such as ware-washing, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning walls, foodservice equipment, and simple operation of basic equipment. Clean, Sanitize, sweep, and mop the kitchen/dining room floor as directed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen/ work area. Receive and clean our guest’s soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware following proper departmental procedures. Must adhere to all company standards and operating policies. Performs all side work, opening and closing duties. Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Ensure all Rio Hotel & Casino core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Assist bus runner in keeping/maintaining dining room areas clean. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Maintain written record of all equipment cleaned and/or those needing special attention. Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply/storage closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; clean floors; remove items which do not belong and place in correct areas. Monitor and use correct cleaning chemicals for designated items per OSHA regulations and hotel requirements. Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Perform other job-related duties as requested.
