About The Position

Utility Cleaner Lead- Joint Base Anacostia- Bolling is seeking a Utility Cleaner Lead to support custodial operations at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. This is a working lead position that plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of communal spaces, restrooms, work areas, and exterior zones. The Utility Cleaner Lead works under the direction of the Project Manager/Site Lead and is responsible for coordinating daily custodial tasks and ensuring service quality through hands-on execution and reporting in compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Top Secret Clearance required
• SCI eligibility required
• 1 year custodial experience in the last three years including floor care-stripping, waxing, buffing
• Valid Driver's License compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Regular, dependable attendance
• U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations

Nice To Haves

• TS/SCI clearance
• Experience in a lead or coordination role

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager/Site Lead by coordinating daily custodial assignments and reporting task completion
• Maintain awareness of supply inventory and communicate restocking needs
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure custodial tasks meet established performance standards and inspection criteria
• Support quality assurance efforts by reporting cleanliness findings and assisting with corrective actions as directed by the Quality Manager
• Perform cleaning duties including mopping tile and concrete floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and stripping floors
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, and drinking fountains
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain exterior cleanliness
• Dust furniture, equipment, blinds, and fixtures
• Clean entrances, exits, and exterior/interior glass surfaces
• Maintain floors
• Report facility damage, vandalism, or maintenance needs to the Project Manager/Site Lead
• Operate cleaning equipment such as electric buffers, vacuums, and wringers
• Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals per instructions
• Ensure cleaning materials are stored properly and safely
• Assist with furniture movement and relocation as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and site-specific regulations
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned
