About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid PA Driver's License.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer aptitude.
• Vehicle safety knowledge.
• Material handling skills.
• Physical capability to walk long distances daily in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 59 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Basic pipefitting experience.
• Basic backhoe/trencher operation experience.
• Experience working in confined spaces.
• Experience with meter turn on, turn offs, leak investigation, and meter changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic construction skills such as pipefitting.
• Use air and hand tools and operate equipment.
• Conduct M&R SLIPS and shut offs at the meter and locate curb valves using map directions.
• Manage collections and meter reading routes, and change out ERT devices.
