The posting will be for one (1) distribution position and one (1) transmission position. The Transmission Position is for a Utility Arborist - Transmission Programs, which will administer the integrated vegetation management (VM) plan for transmission rights of way of statewide programs including incompatible tree remediation projects, capital projects, ITS partner projects, remote sensing projects, and other duties that support the Transmission Maintenance Centers (TMCs) for Georgia Power Company's (GPC) service area. The office location for the positions is flexible, and frequent overnight travel is required. The Distribution Position is for a Utility Arborist - Capital Program, which will administer the integrated vegetation management (VM) plan for capital program forestry work along rights of way and will support Distribution and Transmission Areas for Georgia Power Company's (GPC) service area statewide. The office location for the positions is flexible, and frequent overnight travel is required. A modified relocation assistance may be available for these positions.
