The Utility Analyst I is responsible for the maintenance and management of organizational data assets.
Collects or receives data from disparate sources.
Works with data providers to improve data management workflow.
Develops and executes standard or custom queries or reports to retrieve data as required.
Manage ongoing communication between clients, stakeholders, and internal resources.
Take ownership for maintaining data acquisition, accuracy, and storage tools.
Develop and review energy consumption baselines and adjustments through regression analysis and other appropriate methods.
Assist in the development of requirements and the testing of new software tools.
Work with clients and utility representatives to obtain access to historical and current utility data.
Review utility invoices for errors and dispute errors with the utility on behalf on the client. Research utility rate changes and deregulated energy cost trends.
Create utility consolidations based on available data including identifying gaps needed to be resolved.
Perform the assigned duties with minimal supervision, while working in a team problem-solving environment.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Experience with database queries
Experience with commercial utility bill and rate structures.
