What You Will Do: Support the Chemical Technologies segmentResponsible for setting up standards, best practices, tools, trainings and audit standardsUnderstanding our market direction, capabilities, gaps and opportunities in order to develop strategies for growth and create new target markets and productsBest Practice documentation - create standard format and establish documents for utility water applicationsTraining Programs - develop content and lead training programs for field representativesAudits - support troubleshooting and audits at customer sitesTools - develop tools needed by field to better support our customersBe a recognized technical leader in the field of utilities water treatment in the oil & gas industryActive participation in professional organizationsUnderstanding of utilities market and creation of a clear and executable strategy that enables us to strengthen leadership position in marketCollaborate with field representatives to understand needs of customers and competition to improve our offeringConduct regular SWOT analyses of industry, segments, customers and sites to improve our offeringsWork with Product Line Managers to support product catalog and pricing based on market needs and analyticsCreation of field collateral to sell and support customersManage new product and offerings w/ R D and other Functional groups - from ideation and development to field trials and commercializationFacilitate knowledge sharing database activity (CORE)Facilitate global cadences with water-focused teams (sales, marketing, R D and technical) Pre-Employment Requirements: Background Check Drug Screen Position Details:Rola may require extensive travel to customer sites (anticipated 50% or grater)Minimum Qualifications:BS in engineering, chemistry or biologyMinimum of 10 years' experience in utilities water treatment; preferably in the oil & gas marketsExcellent communication skills and ability to engage well with all levels of stakeholders to translate needs into effective outcomesFinancial acumen to understand company's P&L and make recommendations in line with goals and marketPreferred Qualifications:Experience with creating best practices, developing training material, leading trainings, conducting audits and driving CIExperience and understanding of refinery / chemical plantsAbout Us: ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
