Our Site based in Garland (Texas), is currently looking for Utilities Technician – Manufacturing Ensures the safe and efficient operation of utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, boiler operation, steam, glycol, water, and electrical distribution. Supports building infrastructure such as lighting, plumbing, and general facilities maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations and optimal system performance while contributing to energy efficiency and continuous improvement across the site.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in utilities or facility maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, boilers, and compressed air systems is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification or training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields preferred.
  • Additional training in boiler operations or glycol systems is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safe and reliable operation of utility systems by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency repairs as needed
  • Maintains and troubleshoots HVAC systems, boilers, glycol systems, compressed air systems, and other utilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
  • Supports facility infrastructure including lighting, plumbing, and general building maintenance
  • Monitors system performance and ensures proper documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and operational data
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to identify issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and improve system reliability and efficiency
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations, company rules, and internal procedures
