Seeking a multi-trades Utilities Technician to conduct utilities maintenance to join our team. Responsible for maintaining and repairing building facilities and utilities equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, boiler, and knowledge of chilled water glycol systems. Refrigeration certification preferred. Ability to technically maintain equipment. Technical associate degree or certificate preferred
  • RETA Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certification required within 6-12 months of employment
  • The usage of contact lenses are not allowed in ammonia areas

Responsibilities

  • Plans & completes all preventive and corrective maintenance of all facility and office equipment to include but not limited to the following: Boiler water treatment, Boiler steam and condensate systems, Ammonia refrigeration system (chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, air handling units, etc.)
  • Maintain reverse osmosis (RO) system and components
  • Monitor and control all wastewater recycling center equipment
  • Provides improvement project support as needed

  • Will start on a Monday- Friday day shift schedule and eventually transition to a night shift, 2/2/3 schedule (6:00pm-6:30am)
