The position involves providing supervisory guidance to skilled craft personnel. The individual will serve as the focal point for work requests within the group, planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in equipment operations or maintenance. Responsibilities include controlling and reviewing work to ensure timeliness and accuracy, establishing and maintaining schedules consistent with budgetary and time constraints, and emphasizing safety in operations. The supervisor will assist employees with problem resolution, coach them, conduct performance evaluations, and enforce safety regulations while supporting EEO/AA programs. Additionally, the role requires developing innovative approaches to non-routine work requests based on expertise and organizational philosophy, as well as performing related duties to meet group objectives and providing training while maintaining appropriate records.
