About The Position
The Utilities Locates Technician II is responsible for scheduling and physically locating all City-owned underground infrastructures, including water lines, sanitary sewer lines, storm sewer lines, and fiber lines. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and effective communication with contractors and the public. The technician will also assist the City Surveyor in conducting land surveys and construction layouts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with the Underground Facility Damage Prevention and Safety Act.
