Under general supervision, performs administrative duties in coordinating the City's Utility Outreach program, education and public relations work in planning, developing, and implementing the department's outreach programs, marketing and providing public relations as they relate to the City's water, wastewater, reclaimed water, construction projects, and other Utility programs. Work involves promoting customer awareness and participation through various educational programs and presentations and assisting local businesses, industries, commercial establishments, and the general public. This position also supports the public information/relations and marketing efforts of the City's Community Information Coordinator. Tact and courtesy must be exercised in dealing with employees, business and industry representatives, and the general public. Independent judgment and initiative must be exercised as necessary. Reports to the Utilities Director.
