Job Summary: Work encompasses all aspects of project management and engineering of utility projects, including but not limited to water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification desired.
  • Relevant internships in civil or utility engineering desired.
  • Familiarity with projects in Southwest Florida is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook knowledge.
  • Ability and willingness to interact professionally with clients and regulatory agencies under guidance.
  • Must have an excellent driving record and have a valid Florida driver’s license as driving is an essential part of the position.
  • Sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification desired.
  • Relevant internships in civil or utility engineering desired.
  • Familiarity with projects in Southwest Florida is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers with a variety of utility projects, including supporting client communication, tracking project schedules, and assisting with budget management.
  • Coordinate with CAD designers and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and external agencies.
  • Support permit preparation by assisting permit technicians with applications and helping track permit review progress.
  • Participate in construction observations, assist with field documentation, and observe critical construction activities under supervision.
  • Communicate and coordinate with construction managers, contractors, owners, inspectors, and permitting agencies as part of the project team.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as reports, letters, project summaries, and professional correspondence.
  • Gain exposure to water and wastewater pipeline design, pump stations, hydraulic modeling, and/or treatment plant projects.
  • Work in both office and field environments as project needs require.
