The Electromechanical Technician - 2nd Shift position involves working under general supervision with little instruction on daily tasks. The technician will apply intermediate skills to complete a wide range of tasks, demonstrating a substantial understanding of the job. The role includes assembling electronics according to product specifications, following blueprints to put together electronic devices, tools, and products using hand and power tools. The technician will work from instructions, drawings, schematics, illustrations, and process documentation to assemble a variety of electrical subassemblies and systems. Responsibilities also include planning, fabricating, assembling, disassembling, setting up, testing, inspecting, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electrical hardware and equipment. The technician will perform routine, complex, and repetitive assembly operations to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner, and analyze and evaluate test results to validate acceptance criteria. Compliance with environmental, health, and safety directions and procedures is also required.
