About The Position

The USSOCOM Role Player position involves providing role player support to training events. These events require role players to understand scenarios and react to a wide variety of responses from candidates or students. The role player will adjust their responses appropriately depending on the desired outcome of the learning event.

Requirements

• No security clearance required.
• Must be of general good health and cleared by a medical physician.
• Able to speak, read, and write English.
• Capable of heavy lifting and carrying of 50 pounds and over.
• Ability to function in various environmental factors including excessive heat, cold, humidity, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Understand and engage students at the appropriate level of intensity.
• Adjust responses based on the performance of the student.
• Understand the intent, mechanics, and flow of each exercise.
• Simulate combat in a training environment using blank ammunition, simunitions, paintball, and pyrotechnics.
• Perform various roles in support of the exercise as required.
• Be subjected to searches and clear of weapons and explosive devices.
