About the position
As an Usher at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches, you will serve as a frontline representative, assisting guests with directions and information while ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere during events. Your role is crucial in enhancing the fan experience and creating lasting memories at the Spring Training home of the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain the stadium's game-ready status by fulfilling assigned game day duties and reporting issues to supervisors.
- Welcome fans with a friendly demeanor and helpful attitude.
- Advise management of any activities of interest or concern regarding the facility.
- Review credentials to direct customers to appropriate areas of the facility.
- Assist fans and guests exiting elevators and escalators.
- Follow directions and work effectively within a team setting.
- Be a resource for all fans and assist them as needed.
- Stay alert to potential hazards in the ballpark and report incidents.
- Keep updated on safety and security protocols for all attendees.
- Assist in admission, guest services, and other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred.
- A passion for working with and helping people.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations.
- Reliability and commitment to meeting work schedules and job requirements.
- Ability to work irregular/extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
