About The Position

This position involves working as a team member in a venue, with responsibilities split between ushering and retail clerk duties. Responsibilities

• Ensures the Venue is maintained in a clean, sanitary and appealing manner, to Venue standards throughout the shift.
• Checks the room for proper seating order and checks neatness of seating area before show starts.
• Arrange floor seating according to applicable venue map; make sure seating signage is visible.
• Rearrange seating as needed post show and help clean up the room after performance.
• Handle difficult problems which arise during seating, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor the room for distractions or problems during the show; handle any issue that may arise properly.
• Ensure only guests with proper credentials obtain access to restricted areas.
• Maintain communication with other departments within the Venue to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Scan tickets as guest enters venue, and scan exiting guests for re-entry.
• Greets guests and offers direction in locating their seats. Escorts full comps and guests who enter at show time to their seats.
• Provide customer service and assist guest with questions on merchandise/services.
• Retrieve cash drawer from vault at beginning of shift.
• Perform point of sale functions; cash register, count change, and package goods, show tickets.
• Clean and organize merchandise and fixtures.
• Check-in, price and stock new merchandise.
• Assist with arranging of merchandise on sales floor and/or rearranging current merchandise for promotions.
• Document damaged items and notify supervisor.
• Participate in physical inventory procedures.
• Balance drawer at end of shift.
• Notify supervisor of out-of-stock items, best sellers, and guests' requests.
