About The Position
The University Library at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a User Services Student Supervisor and Outreach (Library Assistant III, LM010). This is a 1.0 FTE position and provides overall service and direction to the inclusive outreach efforts of the University Library, including events, programming and other campus/community collaborations in support of the Library and University goals. The position coordinates the hiring and scheduling of student employees in User Services. This position collaborates in the supervision and training of User Services student employees. The position works closely with and reports to the User Services Librarian. The position works collaboratively with User Services staff to support Library outreach initiatives. Responsibilities also involve providing services at the Circulation Desk, including circulation of materials and general customer service.
