User Interface and Experience Designer

About The Position
Innodata is seeking a UI/UX Designer to simulate the design function within a product team. You will create and present design concepts, contribute to discussions, and collaborate with product and engineering to refine user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and client teams, to solve complex problems, reduce human effort, and ensure that AI-driven processes meet high standards for quality and reliability. Your work will directly contribute to improving our client's data annotation and evaluation processes, enabling them to scale more efficiently.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma or similar)
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Bachelor’s degree in fields like Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create basic design artifacts (mockups, flows, concepts)
- Present and explain design decisions in team meetings
- Collaborate with product and engineering on feasibility and UX tradeoffs
- Iterate on designs based on feedback
- Contribute to documentation and discussions
