About The Position

We are seeking a mid-level User Interaction/User Experience (UI/UX) Designer to support the design and usability of secure, mission-critical applications. This role focuses on creating intuitive, user-centered designs while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams in a classified environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or similar)
• Minimum of 6 years of UI/UX experience
• Strong experience in user interaction and user experience design
• Proficiency with common UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
• Active Top Secret security clearance (required at time of hire)

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting DoD or federal programs
• Familiarity with designing within secure or classified environments
• Understanding of front-end development constraints and workflows

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered interfaces and workflows for web-based and software applications
• Translate user requirements and system needs into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve user experience
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility
• Maintain and contribute to UI standards, style guides, and design systems
• Ensure accessibility, consistency, and usability across applications
