About The Position

The position involves a combination of UI and UX design responsibilities, with a focus on creating visual design elements and ensuring a seamless user experience. The role requires collaboration with clients and team members, as well as adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards. The designer will be involved in various stages of the design process, from brainstorming and conceptualization to quality assurance testing and project management. The position also includes participation in business development activities and staying informed about industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5-7+ years experience in UI/UX design or a related field within an agency setting preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating aesthetic and strategically creative solutions.
• Great design and layout skills, with an eye for composition, color, padding, and typography.
• Familiarity with Agile work cycles, waterfall, and/or other methodologies.
• Extreme attention to detail, including presentation prep and reviewing team members’ work.
• Highly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Capable of multitasking on multiple projects.
• Open-minded attitude to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative ecosystem.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Hand drawing/sketching skills (not required, but a bonus).
• Passion for emerging interactive technologies like AR, MR, VR, and immersive tools.
• Familiarity with AI, LLMs, and Generative Art creation tools.

Responsibilities

• Create a broad range of visual design elements for diverse experiences and interfaces.
• Present work and walk clients through the design process during meetings.
• Brainstorm with the team on storyboards, style frames, UI look, and UX flow.
• Contribute to the designs of others on the team through light creative direction.
• Understand and execute within a client’s brand guidelines and design language.
• Produce creative documentation, style guides, and animation references for developers.
• Create design moodboards with research and inspiration for project direction.
• Provide labor estimates and design expenses to the Accounts Team.
• Ensure quality control and art reviews leading up to design phase milestones.
• Work with developers and animators to export artwork for software development.
• Participate in creating annual Smart Goals for skill growth and learning.
• Conduct quality assurance testing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Uphold the vision of the interactive experience through thoughtful design.
• Produce UX flow diagrams, information architecture, content strategy, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Support and conduct UX research to understand client users.
• Advocate for users and their needs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in discovery, planning, and other phases of the creative process.
• Contribute to creative project solutions and RFP responses.
• Balance time and priorities across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Remain informed of industry tools and trends, and enlighten teams as necessary.
• Contribute to the company’s marketing needs as required.
