About The Position

As a Product Designer, Vice President in Employee Experience Design at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of user experience through strategic design initiatives that align business needs with user insights. This role requires a deep understanding of design and research practices to lead significant initiatives and develop innovative solutions that cater to employee needs while meeting business requirements. Your contributions will not only enhance the employee experience across our products and services but also elevate the overall maturity of our design practice. In this senior individual contributor role, you will exemplify collaboration across cross-functional teams, guiding and mentoring junior designers while fostering a culture of inclusivity and accessibility. Your expertise in experience strategy and inclusive design will ensure that our offerings are visually appealing, accessible, and user-friendly, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience. You will be responsible for designing across our internal mobile channel, which encompasses both iOS and Android products and features. Your involvement will span the entire design process, from defining product features and conducting executive reviews to testing, generating concepts, and contributing to the scaling of our employee experience design system for mobile. You will diagram service flows, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints, leading end-to-end design initiatives within our mobile channel. Your role will also involve driving the adoption of inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development processes, and leveraging market trends and research methodologies to inform your design work. You will devise product design strategies that navigate complex tech stacks while championing consistency and high-quality UI/Visual Design across the mobile team. Presenting your work to senior leadership will be a regular part of your responsibilities, requiring you to tailor your narrative for different audiences while keeping the user at the center of your story. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of standards and patterns for our Employee Experience Design System, support cross-team initiatives to enhance our design practice, and mentor other team members to raise the maturity and standard of product design within the web team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our design practices not only meet the current needs but also anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
