About The Position

At accentedge, we believe that user experience is at the heart of successful digital products. We are currently seeking a User Experience Lead who will play a critical role in shaping our design philosophy and ensuring that our solutions are intuitive, user-friendly, and transformative. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
• Proficient in various user research methods and usability testing techniques, with the ability to analyze and synthesize findings effectively.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar software.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, usability best practices, and the ability to apply them to create engaging user interfaces.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for working as part of a team and advocating for the user.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and front-end development practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodology and working in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process by developing a thorough understanding of user needs, preferences, and behaviors through research, user interviews, and usability testing.
• Establish and advocate for a design strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances user experience across all digital platforms.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and development teams.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that designs are implemented effectively and maintain visual integrity and usability.
• Help establish and maintain a design system that consists of style guides, component libraries, and best practices to ensure consistency across products.
• Conduct usability tests and synthesize feedback to iterate and refine designs based on real user interactions.
• Mentor junior designers and advocate for a culture of user-centered design thinking within the organization.
