About The Position

As a User Acceptance Tester (UAT Tester), you will play a key role in validating that government IT systems function as intended before deployment. The position includes preparing test cases, executing tests, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that final solutions meet user needs and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience performing user acceptance testing, ideally in a government environment.
- Knowledge of testing tools and experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute UAT test plans, scripts, and cases based on business requirements.
- Work with analysts and stakeholders to validate that system enhancements meet expectations.
- Log, track, and help resolve system issues and bugs.
- Support training and feedback sessions with end-users during testing.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure traceability to original requirements.
- Ensure systems adhere to accessibility (e.g., Section 508) and regulatory requirements.
