ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Employee must be able to perform these essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship. Identifies SKU’d used parts from list provided by Product Management or Teardown lists. Picks / pulls parts (or coordinates with yard / teardown staff). Works with store manager on which used parts are picked, pulled and placed in staging area prior to inspection and inventorying. Cleans, preps and labels parts (or assigns, oversees and coordinates with teardown staff) for stocking and shipping. Ensures all parts are inspected and meet ASAP quality standards prior to entering into inventory. Sends fringe parts to re-conditioning staff for R and R. Prepares bin locations and racking / shelving for item storage. Assigns warehouse locations for easy picking of high-volume parts (outdoor storage for large, oversized items) Enters stock into inventory program, including bin location. Updates quantities using “last count date” and “status” to determine availability. Performs corrections as identified; addresses with store users to avoid future occurrences. Maintains Negative On Hand Report (inventoried items that go negative – find out why). Makes or coordinates adjustments needed with Inventory Control Coordinator. Addresses inventory issues with staff. Maintains items in Engine and Component Locators in inventory program. Identifies and accumulates cores needed by company rebuilding shops. Reviews Cylinder Head need report (Rebuilt Restock – 08 Cylinder Head) weekly and matches to active yard equipment. Coordinates pulling and adds needed heads to inventory (either a CI number or a used sku). Performs all other duties as assigned.
