About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Ron Carter Ford in Alvin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with expertise in various systems and components. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18 to $28, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, and conducting thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. In this role, you will utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex automotive issues and align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling. Staying updated on new technologies in automotive systems, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), is crucial. You will also be required to interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.
