About The Position
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Used Car Flat Rate Technician to join our team. As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or equipment efficiently and effectively while meeting the standards set for flat rate compensation. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience (used car experience preferred).
- ASE Certification(s) a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform bumper-to-bumper inspections and mechanical repairs on used vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, and HVAC issues.
- Ensure reconditioning standards are met for vehicle safety, quality, and appearance.
- Work efficiently to meet flat-rate performance standards.
- Communicate repair needs and status clearly with service advisors and managers.
